Color Exploration
Color mood was distilled from inspirational images, customer trends, and an innate color sensibility.
Color Development
A soft, airy, luminous palette with romantic undertones emerged. Mills used these color stories to dye custom yarns and weave pattern designs.
Design Development
Artwork was sourced, and created with mills, and paired to constructions. These mid-20th century paintings by a Parisian textile house were just the vibe for the collection.

A luminous, opulent, couture collection inspired by Fortuny pleated silks, reflective metal surfaces, and the MET Museum's Manus x Machina exhibit. "Gilded Color" includes 150+ fabrics for the interior design trade and manufacturers. Textiles were dyed, woven and printed to exact specification. Lead colors are Tea (an orange-cast milky neutral shade of a tea stain on a white cloth), Patina (a green-blue shade of oxidize copper), and Brass (a muted metallic yellow-gold shade). Fabrics were highlighted and room designs were created with the marketing team. Images iillustrate a successful design process where brand vision was consistent from concept to development to market.
