Color trends & design motifs from artisanal wares of nomadic cultures in Northern Africa

A deep, earthy, graphic collection that draws from artisanal wares and dress of nomadic cultures in Northern Africa. "Nomadic Color" includes 200+ fabrics for the interior design trade and manufacturers. Textiles were dyed, woven and printed to exact specification. Lead colors are Onyx (an inky black often paired with soft ivory in shawls worn by Berber tribes), Carob (a rich red-cast brown of baskets woven by African Zulu and Fulani Tribes), Cement (a perfect midtone neutral cast gray), and Denim (a shade similar to the blue from indigo plants used in resist dyeing). Fabrics were highlighted and vignettes were created with the marketing team. Images illustrate a successful design process where brand vision was consistent from concept to development to market.
